It’s a dangerous double header… DEADLY ARE THE NAKED bring their hi-energy funk rock to Pony with the aim to provide maximum pleasure, maximum riffs, maximum energy with no downtime, while BAD DECISION AND THE CONSEQUENCES backup their recent headline show at the Arthouse with another round of no holds barred punk n roll. Playing their scuzzed out, brain stomping rock and roll early will be CHAIRMAN MEOW, with the help of previous Falls Festival act GREAT EARTHQUAKE and his mind bending solo show, looping every instrument possible into his unique breakbeat style.

Delta Reds are a thrash punk band featuring members of Jed Whitey, The Abandonment and Extortion. Delta Reds headline the brutal rock and metal entertainment at Pony on Friday February 5th with supports Tigernauts, coming fresh off being asked to play the last Sunday afternoon at The Tote. Swidgen, who are putting the final touches to their grimey new album, and King Parrot appearing for only their 2nd gig and featuring Melbourne metal drumming psychopath Matt Rizzo. It’s also Fred & Youngy's birthday so all the more reason to come and rock out.

Local newcomers Fathoms are popping their Pony cherry in the most dangerous way possible: smack, bang, straight into the 2am late show. With songs that will gnaw at your ears, pound your chest and you’re your pants flap, you better comes prepared. After all, we know there’s no better way to settle into a long night at Pony than to catch some thumping tunes at the hands of three of Melbourne’s most handsome. Ladies and Gentlemen, Fathoms.

Joined by psychedelic journeymen The Council of Elders, indie goons the Rapid Transit and solo artist Tommy El Salvador, get down and let these acts pound you like yesterday’s beef and tickle you like the sweet little love nipple you are! This Saturday at Pony.

2am double late show: STEPPIN' RAZOR / THIS WAR / FREE
It’s the 5th year of the Ska-b-q in a row, and this year the party doesn't stop. Hitting up the 2am slot is Sydney kids Steppin' Razor. Named after a Sublime song, Steppin Razor play a mix of Operation Ivy influenced Ska/Punk with big amounts of reggae thrown in. They havn't played in Melbourne in over a year, but have a new album to bring to town. Locals This War also join them for the late night show, playing a huge mix or ska, punk, rock, indie and whatever else they decide to throw at you. Streetcore DJs keep everything else in order until 7am.
